You can order and purchase Standards in a number of different ways depending on your needs and preferences.

Using our webshop

You can search for Standards using the search panel on the right of your screen.  If you know the number of the Standard you are looking for, type in the number only (for example 3604). The search function only searchs words in the title of the Standard (for example timber). To search the abstract of the Standard you need to use the advanced catalogue search. Once you have found the Standards you are looking for add them to your shopping basket and complete your purchase.

Ordering hardcopy Standards

Hardcopy Standards can be ordered online through our webshop, or by email, mail, phone, or fax. You can pay for Standards by credit card or cheque.  If you are a member of Standards New Zealand you have the option to be invoiced.  A handling fee of $10.00 (ex GST) applies to all hardcopy orders within New Zealand. Hardcopies of the Standard you have ordered will be sent to you within 24 hours. You should receive the Standard within one to two working days by courier under most circumstances.

Ordering electronic (PDF) Standards

Single use electronic copies of Standards in PDF format can be ordered online through our webshop, or by email, mail, phone, or fax. You can pay for Standards by credit card or cheque.  If you are a member of Standards New Zealand you have the option to be invoiced. Once you have completed your order, a PDF version of the Standard will be made available for you to download from our webshop.

Network licence

For a one-off fee, you can place a PDF version of a Standard on your internal network for as long as you need it. Contact us for a quote.

Ordering international Standards

You can order hardcopy international Standards from us.  We can supply International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) documents electronically.  You can order hardcopy Standards from ISO, IEC and BSI British Standards from our website and other international Standards by email, mail, phone, or fax.
